Miki Orii
Miki Orii has performed extensively
as both soloist and chamber musician in North America and Asia. She has
earned advanced degrees from the Kunitachi College of Music and the New
England Conservatory of Music, where she studied with Irma Vallecillo,
Margot Garrett and Kayo Iwama. Additional studies and master classes with
Elly Ameling, Pierre Vallet and Martin Isepp. She has been a participant
in numerous Music Festivals, including the Institute of Music Studies
in Graz, Austria and the Pacific Music Festival in Sapporo, Japan, where
she was invited to perform with principal members of the Vienna Philharmonic
Orchestra. She has been a faculty member of the Georgia Academy of Music.
